let silence speak
for noisy utterance
is the confusion of
what might be mighty
mutterance
hear the hum
bear the drum
monotony & cacophony
are mother & son
sprung from dichotomy
each offsetting the One
with morasses of the Other

speak that silence may be heard
for the failure of vision
could succeed by a word
the power of silence
heals the weakness
of sound
